The Application Process
of the Praetorian Guard

Read Everything:
Yes, really read it all!

The guild website is an integral part of being a guild member. Although there is no expectation for you to make posts, it is required to stay up to date with regard to reading. Learn to use the tools such as 'Show Unread' and 'Mark as Read' and use them regularly to stay uptodate. Stickied topics (at the top of each forum) are of vital importance!

The Guild Charter:
All applicants must read and agree to the Guild Charter

The Guild DKP/Loot Distribution:
All applicants must read and understand our Loot System viewable after forum registration.

The Guild Members:
The members of Praetorian Guard come from all walks of life. Our ages range from teenager to midlife; with an average age of about 25-27. We are also a physically diverse group from all across the United States, Canada and even South America.

Applicant Gear:
Minimum requirement of having obtained 4 piece ilvl264 Tier 10. Exceptions can be made.

Applicant Spec:
Your character spec should be setup according to how you plan to raid when you submit your application.

Applicant Experience:
Previous 25man+ raiding experience is required. Every raid group is different, so your ability to adapt and learn to play quickly in our environment will be a portion of your final evaluation as an applicant.

Additional Notes:

Remember, your application is our first, and often, only impression of you; its your job to sell yourself to us.

Being cocky and telling us how "great" you are is a good way for us to have a bad impression.

How to submit an application
First, create a forum account by using the Register Link at the top of the forum. Please register under the name of your in-game main character. If you can't follow this simple initial instruction, your account won't even be approved on our forums.

Once your forum account has been activated, create a new forum post in the applications forum. A subject of the format of "Name - Class" works well.

Excessive use of: "smileys", the word "lol", or just plain retardation and your app will simply be deleted.

If you're a clicker, a keyboard turner, or just can't shut the hell up in vent, this isn't the guild for you. Don't waste our time or yours.
